Kannur: A wax statue of former Kerala Chief Minister and CPM leader EK Nayanar has allured all to CPM’s EK Nayanar museum in Kannur.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the museum at Nayanar Academy here on Sunday. Only the first phase of works of the museum is completed now. The rest of the arrangements will be completed in the second and third phase.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed that the museum is the first of its kind launched by the party in India.

“Nayanar had dedicated his life to the party and people. He is continuing to hold a place in the hearts of the people. He impressed all with a sacred lifestyle,” remembered CM. A wax statue of Nayanar is the major attraction of the museum.

Nayanar’s wife KP Sarada teacher, two daughters Sudha, Usha and two sons Krishnakumar and Vinod Kumar attended the function.
