ED issues notice to Shajan Skariah

Kochi: The Enforcement Directorate has issued a notice to Shajan Skariah, editor of online channel ‘Marunadan Malayalee”. He has been asked to report at the Kochi ED office on June 29. The journalist has been asked to submit income tax papers and balance sheets related to his assets, for the last 10 years. Information related to the businesses, assets and transactions of his family members shall also be submitted.

The ED will look into the companies in which Shajan holds shares. The audit sheets of such companies, bank account details, and their international transactions over the period of last 10 years will come under scanner.
