Chaos caused by drunk passenger forces Dubai-Kozhikode flight to return

Kondotty (Kerala): A flight from Dubai to Kozhikode had to return after a passenger created a ruckus under the influence of alcohol. 

The incident occurred on a Flydubai flight that departed Dubai early Sunday morning at around 1 am.  

The passenger, reportedly a native of Vengara, continued to cause trouble even after the flight had taken off. As his behaviour became a nuisance to fellow passengers, the flight crew decided to turn the aircraft back to Dubai.  

After landing, Dubai Police took the disruptive passenger into custody following an inquiry with other passengers. 

The flight, originally scheduled to reach Karipur at 7 am, was delayed and arrived only around 10:30 am.
