Drugs worth Rs 3.75 crores seized from luxury cars near Kuthiran tunnel

Pattikad: A major drug bust happened on the national highway stretch near Kuthiran tunnel on Friday early morning. 

Three kilograms of hashish oil and 77 kilograms of marijuana which were being smuggled in luxury cars were seized in a joint operation by the Peechi police and the anti-drug squad which functions under the Thrissur city police commissioner. 

Cash amounting to Rs 2 lakhs was also seized in the operation.

Puthoor native Arun and Kolazhi native Akhil were taken into custody in connection with the incident.
