Dr Vandana Das to be awarded MBBS degree posthumously

Thrissur: The Kerala University of Health Sciences has decided to award MBBS degree posthumously to Dr Vandana Das who was brutally killed by a drug addict Sandeep at Kottarakara Taluk Hospital in May this year. The decision was taken at the 75th governing council meeting of the university which was chaired by vice chancellor Dr Mohanan Kunnummal. 

Director of medical education Dr Thomas Mathew had also attended the meeting. The date for awarding the degree will be announced later on.
