'Don’t ask about Messi': Kerala Sports Minister, team lash out at media over question on Argentine team

Thrissur: Kerala Sports Minister V Abdurahiman reportedly lost his temper when media personnel asked him questions about the Argentina football team. The incident occurred at Erumapetty in Thrissur, during the inauguration of a school ground.

Prior to the Minister’s visit, MP Hibi Eden had held a press conference alleging that suspicious dealings had taken place under the pretext of bringing the Argentina football team to Kerala.

When reporters tried to get the Minister’s reaction to these allegations, Abdurahiman angrily knocked over the channel microphones placed in front of him. The Minister then entered the school premises, accompanied by A C Moideen, who intervened and asked the media not to “create a scene”.

Reports say that the Minister’s team also confronted and pushed against some journalists during the commotion.
