Hema Committee Report: Digital evidence stored in secret locker at Secretariat

Thiruvananthapuram: The digital evidence from the Hema Committee report is securely stored in a secret locker at the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram.
The evidence includes pen drives and CDs containing WhatsApp chats and audio clips provided by those who testified before the committee. The copies of the statements provided are also available.
The controversial report, which was made public recently, was submitted on December 31, 2019, to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and then Culture Minister A.K. Balan. One of the three copies forwarded was later delivered to the office of the Secretary of the Legal Department.

The government has published the report after redacting 63 pages from the original 295-page report.
