Differently-abled Malappuram vlogger Swalih Valanchery passes away

Malappuram, Kerala: YouTuber and content creator Swalih Valanchery, a native of Valanchery in Malappuram, died on Saturday while undergoing treatment for a pneumonia-related illness. He was admitted to a private hospital in Perinthalmanna after developing physical difficulties earlier in the day.

Swalih, who faced physical challenges, had built a large following through his Malayalam videos on YouTube and social media. His death was reported on social media by Indian Union Muslim League leaderSayyid Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal.

Swalih was reportedly experiencing breathing difficulties on Saturday morning. He was later taken to a private hospital in Perinthalmanna after his physical condition worsened.

He died while receiving treatment at the hospital on Saturday evening, according to the information available from his family and social media posts.

The news came hours after he had spoken to Munavvar Ali Shihab Thangal over the phone. During the conversation, Swalih had mentioned that he was experiencing breathing difficulties and was struggling with his condition.

Differently-abled Swalih Valanchery was known for his Malayalam-language videos and had a substantial following on YouTube. His channel had about 263,000 subscribers and more than 350 videos.

His content included lifestyle and family vlogs, travel experiences, food-related videos, shopping and product features, and interactions with viewers. His videos also featured everyday experiences with his family and outings.

Despite his physical challenges, Swalih remained active as a content creator and continued producing videos that were watched by a large number of people.

Swalih is survived by his father, Fareed, wife Jesna, and children Mohammed Mishhab and Fathima Safwiya.

Swalih's death has been shared widely on social media by those who followed his videos and knew him personally.
