Denied permission to enter DJ party, youngsters stab hotel manager in Kochi

Kochi: A group of youngsters stabbed a hotel manager in Kochi on Saturday night after they were denied permission to enter a DJ party. Ernakulam residents Lijoy and Nithin were taken into custody by Thevara police in connection with the case.

The youngsters had gone to attend a DJ party at a hotel in Kadavanthra on Saturday night. However they were denied permission by the hotel manager to enter the party. This led to a verbal argument between the youngsters and the manager. It took a violent turn when they flung a knife against him, said police.

The manager is said to have suffered minor injuries on his hand. Meanwhile, the police have intensified the search for the third accused in the case.
