Dancer Sheeba Shyamaprasad passes away

Thiruvananthapuram: Dancer and presenter Sheeba Shyamaprasad passed away on Tuesday. She was 59. 

Sheeba was the wife of renowned Malayalam film director Shyamaprasad. 

She had been undergoing treatment for cancer at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. She breathed her last at around 10:30 pm.

Hailing from Kootukad near North Paravur, Sheeba anchored various programs, including 'Mayilpeeli' on Doordarshan and 'Veetu Karyam' on Jeevan TV. 

Children: Vishnu and Sivakami. The funeral will be held at Thycaud Shanti Kavadam at 3.30 pm on Wednesday.
