Kozhikode: Writer MN Karassery is being targeted to cyberattacks for raising his opinion against SilverLine project.  He had extended support to poet Rafeeq Ahamed who was the target of attack on social media and this might have provoked certain people.

He said that trolls are being made with the photos taken from his 2016 visit to Germany where he had attended a seminar at Berlin University to give lectures at Free University.

“50,000 families will have to abandon their houses for the SiverLine project, while almost 5 lakh people will be deserted in the state. Their rehabilitation will be a mammoth task. The Kerala Sasthra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP) has also noted this. Only those who have no valid arguments to refute my opinion are resorting to abuse on social media and I have no complaints regarding this,” said Karassery.

Cyberbullying only confers popularity to his arguments, he added.
