Cyber attacks: Police record Achu Oommen’s statement

Kottayam: Former Kerala chief minister late Oommen Chandy’s daughter Achu Oommen who has been allegedly facing cyber attacks gave her statement to police on Wednesday. The move comes two days after her complaints with the cyber police and Poojappura Police were registered. 

A team of officials from Poojappura Police Station and local police visited her at house Karot Vallakkalil Veedu here and recorded the statement. The team started the statement recording by 3:20 p.m. 

Achu Oommen has accused left-wing organisation leader Nandakumar Kolathappilly and a few others in her complaint. She has also filed a complaint with the Women's Commission.
