85-yr-old woman who died in Alappuzha confirmed with COVID-19

Alappuzha: An 85-year-old woman who died in Alappuzha on Wednesday has been confirmed with COVID-19. The deceased is identified as Kattoor native Mariyamma. She died on Wednesday afternoon.

Mariyamma had started feeling uneasiness by noon on Wednesday. Though she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, the death was confirmed.

Mariyamma's son is infected with COVID-19 and is under treatment. Mariyamma is wife of Kattoor native Thomas of Thekkethaikkal house.
