Condition of COVID infected Kannur native remains critical: Hospital authorities

Kannur: a medical bulletin released by the Pariyaram Medical College informed that the condition of a 28-year–old Kannur native, suffering from COVID-19, remains critical. 

The youth, who works as a driver at Mattannur Excise Office, tested positive for COVID on Tuesday.

The bulletin stated that both his lungs are in critical state due to pneumonia and that he is dependent on ventilator support. The 28-year-old was shifted to the medical college hospital on June 14.

The bulletin also mentioned that his condition was critical even when he was transferred from a private hospital. He is currently being administered medicines to keep his blood pressure under check.
