Congress veteran Ramesh Chennithala’s mother Devaki Amma passes away

Thiruvananthapuram: N Devaki Amma, aged 91, mother of senior Congress leader and party Working Committee member Ramesh Chennithala, passed away in Thiruvananthapuram.

A former member of the Chennithala panchayat, Devaki Amma was known for her active involvement in local affairs and community initiatives.

She was the wife of the late V Ramakrishnan Nair, who served as a manager and teacher at Chennithala Mahatma High School.

The funeral will be held at the family home on Tuesday at 12 noon.
