Congress rally can be held at any other place on beach, says Kozhikode Collector

Kozhikode: Kozhikode district collector Snehil Kumar Singh clarified why Congress was not allowed a venue for their Palestine solidarity rally. He said that the rally cannot be held on the same premises as the ‘Nava Kerala Sadas’.

The permission was denied because preparations for the Nava Kerala Sadas need to be carried out in the venue. The collector said that the rally cannot be held at the place where stage preparations for the Nava Kerala Sadas needs to be carried out but can be held in any other area at the Kozhikode beach.
