Congress leader found dead in Moolamattom

Moolamattom (Idukki): Congress leader and Arakulam panchayat member Tomy Sebastian (Tomy Vallikulam-56) was found dead in a godown near his residence.

His body was found hanging on Monday morning. Tomy served as the chairman of Arakulam Service Cooperative Bank and held the position of president of the Merchant’s Association.

The motive behind his suicide remains unclear. Tomy lives in the Kizhakkekara Colony of Moolamattom High School Junction. The godown where his body was found, serving as a rubber dealership, is situated nearby. Kanjar police arrived at the scene and started an investigation.
