Congress High Command approves 280-member KPCC office bearers’ list

New Delhi: The Congress High Command has given approval for the list of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office bearers. The KPCC has submitted a list of 280-member office bearers. 

According to reports, KPCC has given priority to women and youth in each block while selecting the office bearers. The policies of the groups were also considered.

Earlier, the High Command returned the list of office bearers to KPCC as suggesting changes.

The 280 office bearers will cast their votes in the election for Congress president.

Addressing the media here on Saturday, KPCC chief K Sudhakaran expressed hope for Bharat Jodo Yatra.

“ A warm reception will be arranged for Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kerala. The foot march will be a historic event and it will rejuvenate the party,” he added.
