CM’s office epicentre of conspiracy against Sudhakaran: VD Satheesan

Thiruvananthapuram: Certain CPM leaders, centering Chief Minister's Office, were involved in spreading fake news against KPCC president K Sudhakaran, alleged opposition leader VD Satheesan. A case must be filed against CPM mouthpiece Deshabhimani and MV Govindan as well, he said.
Govindan acts like he is the Home Minister and DGP of the state. The Crime Branch has revealed that the girl did not make any such allegations in her statement to the police or the magistrate, he said.
Satheesan was reacting to the allegations made by Govindan that Sudhakaran was aware of fraud case accused Monson Mavunkal assaulting a minor. Monson was found guilty in the case recently. Deshabhimani carried the news, quoting Crime Branch sources. Govindan reiterated the allegation at a press conference.
The Chief Minister's Office intervened in the case by changing the investigating officer to implicate Sudhakaran. The complainant, Shamir, has affiliations with the CPM, which raises concerns about the case background, Satheesan stated.
Satheesan also urged the SFI not to become a laughing stock in the public, mentioning the recent controversies surrounding its leaders.
