Thiruvananthapuram: A Children’s Day rally was organized on Thursday by the Neyyattinkara Municipal Corporation, despite heavy rain. The rally, which took place in the afternoon, started at the SN Auditorium in Neyyattinkara and ended at the Boys School. Many students from schools within the Neyyatinkara municipality participated.

The rally was scheduled for 3 pm, sparking criticism for being held in the afternoon rather than the morning. Parents have raised concerns, claiming that they were denied the option to hold the rally earlier in the day, despite their requests. Additionally, some parents expressed dissatisfaction with the decision to proceed with the event during heavy rain and thunderstorms.
