Cartridges found abandoned on roadside in Kollam

Kollam: Cartridges were found abandoned in Kulathupuzha here. 14 bullets were found near the Muppathadi bridge packed in a plastic cover. Police have seized them into custody.

Some people who were resting near the bridge found the bullets. They inspected the abandoned cover upon suspicion. Finding cartridges inside, they informed police.

Preliminary assumption is that the bullets might be abandoned by hunters who go to the forests for hunting. 

However, police said that any comments, on the rifles in which these cartridges are used, can be made only after detailed probe.
