Kochi: Chief minister’s additional private secretary C M Raveendran is being interrogated on the second day too. Raveendran was questioned for over 12 hours on Thurdsay and was let to go. The interrogation started at the Kochi office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at 10.30 am on Thursday and ended by 11 pm. He appeared again before the ED officials on Friday at 9.30 am.

The ED sources informed that Raveendran was quizzed giving long intervals between due to his health condition. The high court had rejected his petition the other day asking to reduce the time limit of interrogation.

The ED assume that Raveendran’s interventions are suspicious. The probe team also believe that Raveendran and Sivasankar were controlling the government-led projects. ED has been informed that Sivasankar was appointed as the principal secretary of the chief minister on the recommendation of Raveendran.

Also they indicated that Raveendran was instructing Sivasankar about the deals related to the Life Mission and K-FON projects. Raveendran did not give any proper answer to the questions regarding this. Earlier, Swapna Suresh had stated that Raveendran had contacted her for Visa stamping and certificate attestation.
