ED interrogates C. M. Raveendran for 10 hours on second day

Kochi: The Enforcement Directorate has completed interrogating Chief Minister’s additional private secretary C. M. Raveendran for the second day on Friday.

The ED interrogated Raveendran for over 10 hours. He appeared before the ED officials at 9.30 am on Friday.

The ED is investigating into Raveendran’s foreign trips and whether he has any links with the gold smuggling case accused. The central probe agency is also investigating Raveendran’s links with M. Sivasankar and some alleged benami transactions.

ED officials said that they will interrogate Raveendran again but he will not be questioned on Saturday. The ED had demanded documents regarding Raveendran’s foreign trips but he did not submit any documents in this regard on Friday.

Raveendran was questioned for over 12 hours on Thursday. The interrogation started at the Kochi office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at 10.30 am on Thursday and ended by 11 pm.
