Tanur: In a cruel twist of fate, Saithalavi, a native of Malappuram, lost 11 members of his family including his wife and children, in the tragic boat tragedy that happened here overnight.

11 ambulances were lined up in front of the shanty house of Saithalavi on Monday.

Tears rolled down the eyes of the people gathered; there was a horrifying silence as the bodies were taken out of the ambulances, wrapped in white clothes, one after the other.

It was a heart-wrenching sight.

The bodies were kept for a while in their new house under construction.
Their souls rested a few seconds in their dream home before the final journey. There wouldn’t be a happy get-together for Saithalavi and their family ever again!

Tragedy struck the family who set out to celebrate their holidays by going on a boat ride.

In the last call that Saithalivi received from his wife, she cried for help as the boat was sinking.

However, by the time he reached the spot, it was too late.

Saithalivi had been in pursuit of building a big house for his family who were living in a congested space. However, due to certain legal hurdles, the construction has been prolonged.
