Kerala BJP prepares list of district presidents; announcement soon

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala BJP has prepared a list of district party presidents.

A list of party presidents for 12 districts has been prepared. The BJP state leadership will announce their names soon.

Both Krishnadas and Muraleedharan faction claimed that majority of the presidents were with them.

P. K. Krishnadas faction claimed that 11 out of the 12 district presidents were with them. Meanwhile, supporters of V. Muraleedharan claimed that nine out of the 12 presidents were with them.

It is learned that three crucial president posts have been secured by supporters of Muraleedharan. BJP district presidents of Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad and Kasaragod will be from V. Muraleedharan faction.

In Thiruvananthapuram, V. V. Rajesh will be the new BJP district president. V. K. Sajeevan, who supports Krishnadas will be the new district president in Kozhikode. Ashokan Kulanada will continue as the BJP president in Pathanamthitta district while N. Hari will continue in Kottayam.

However, there is no clarity regarding the new presidents from Kannur and Kasaragod districts.
