Bail for K Vidya in Palakkad case; Nileshwaram police may take her into custody

Mannarkkad: A munsiff magistrate court here has granted bail to K Vidya in the experience certificate forgery case registered at Agali police station.

She was released on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two guarantors. The court also directed Vidya to appear before the investigation officer every two weeks and not leave the state. Vidya was booked for submitting a forged experience certificate for a temporary teaching job at Attappady Government College in the Palakkad district.

The bail comes a day after she was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

However, Vidya was also booked by Nileshwaram police for the same offence since she submitted the same certificate at Karinthalam Government College in Kasaragod district as well. They may take her into custody, making her release impossible at this moment.

Vidya was arrested two days ago.
