TVM: Cops on New Year patrol duty attacked by a group of men; 3 injured

Thiruvananthapuram: During the New Year celebrations in Attingal, a police patrol team was assaulted at Kaipattimukku, Avanavanchery. It is reported that three policemen sustained injuries in the attack. Four suspects have been apprehended by the police in connection with this incident.

On Sunday night, a group of young individuals attacked the patrolling police officers, causing injuries to SIs Manu, Honey, and CPO Saidhali.

Reports suggest that the assailants were under the influence of alcohol. Meanwhile, two other suspects involved in the incident are currently evading arrest and are said to be in hiding.
