Kannur: BJP National Vice President, AP Abdullakutty, stated that he is being targeted for his new political stance, even on social media. The accident that happened the other day was a part of this, he said during the press conference here.

He said that no one came forward to help him during the accident only because he joined hands with BJP. The statement of the driver of the truck that caused the accident is not trust worthy. The driver said that he dozed off while driving. He did not seem bothered even after the accident.

Abdullakutty claimed that he received phone threats regularly and even released the details of the phone calls he received. He said that he would proudly call himself a national Muslim and that police and community leaders should look at these threats seriously.

He pointed out that he is really happy to get such a high position in the party despite being a newcomer and that unlike in the beginning, he gets support from different minority communities now.
