Whether to remove ADGP from duty is call of govt, party: MLA Anvar after meeting Kerala CM

Thiruvananthapuram: Ruling party MLA PV Anvar met Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday following allegations he made against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar.

When asked by the media about the potential removal of Ajith Kumar, Anvar responded that the decision rests with the government and the party (ruling CPM).

Anvar further emphasised that he had fulfilled his duty as a comrade by informing the Chief Minister of all pertinent details.When asked whether he has any backing, he noted that the he has only the backing of God.

"I have brought everything to the Chief Minister's attention and provided it in writing. I will also be submitting the same complaint to CPM State Secretary MV Govindan," he added.
