Aisha Sultana appears for interrogation in Lakshadweep

Kochi: Filmmaker Aisha Sultana appeared before the police for interrogation. She came with her lawyer and appeared at Kavaratti police headquarters.

Aisha Sultana left from Kochi on Saturday to reach Lakshadweep. Earlier, the Kerala high court had directed Kavaratti police to grant her interim bail if they decide to arrest her.

Sedition charge was slapped on Aisha after BJP Lakshadweep unit filed a complaint against her for making a controversial 'bioweapon' remark on a channel discussion.
