Meet ‘Nova’: AI robot built by students unveiled at Silver Hills School in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: Students of the Silver Hills Public School in Kozhikode recently showcased 'Nova', an AI-powered robotic teacher that they designed themselves, at ‘Silver Synergy’ exhibition. Students from the ninth grade — Adwaith, Gauri Shankar, Aarav, Anfal Pareed, and Aishwarya — collaborated to create the robot, with the support of the school's computer science teacher, Sibil.
Students can ask Nova any question on any topic, and the robot will provide the most authoritative answer in a clear and detailed manner. Designed with humanoid-like features, Nova was created to resemble a human body in appearance and function.
The ‘Silver Synergy’ exhibition, held in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Silver Hills Public School, featured hundreds of exhibits from various fields including science, sociology, computer and cyber technology, art, literature, health sciences, mathematics, and crafts, all prepared by the students.
The event was led by the school principal, Rev. Father Mathew Kalapurayil, and the Silver Synergy conveners, Kavitha S. Nair and K. Sibina.
