After government institutions, 2 famous Kerala temples face bomb threats

Thiruvananthapuram: Two famous temples in Kerala – Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Attukal Temple – faced bomb threats on Saturday. An email sent to Padmanabhaswamy Temple in the morning claimed explosives had been planted in both shrines, warning they would detonate by evening.
Police and the bomb squad immediately carried out checks at both temples but found nothing suspicious. Officers later confirmed the threat was fake.
Hoax threats in Thiruvananthapuram
Earlier, several government institutions and courts in Thiruvananthapuram had also received bomb threats. Police noted that the latest messages resembled previous hoax alerts. Those earlier threats had been circulated through the dark net, making it difficult to identify the senders.
Delhi hotel also targeted
On the same day, Delhi’s Taj Palace Hotel also received a bomb threat. Following the alert, police and the bomb squad searched the premises but found nothing. Delhi Police later confirmed that the message was false.
