Key accused in Abhimanyu murder case surrenders

Kochi: The main accused in the murder of 15-year-old Abhimanyu in Vallikkunnam of Alappuzha has surrendered before the police on Friday.

Sajay Jith, an RSS activist, surrendered himself at the Palarivattom police station at Friday morning.

He will be soon taken to the Vallikkunnam police station.

Abhimanyu was killed on the day of Vishu during the festival at the Padayanivettam temple at around 9.30 pm.

According to police, a team of led by Sajay Jith who arrived in search of Abhimanyu’s brother Ananthu, a DYFI activist, attacked the former.
