Vidya hiding under SFI-CPM protection, alleges KSU state president

Kochi: Former SFI leader K Vidya, who stands accused of forging documents for securing the post of guest lecturer at Kalady University continued to remain in hiding, ever since the incident came to light.
Meanwhile KSU state president Aloysius Xavier alleged that the CPM-SFI leadership in the state was helping Vidya to remain in hiding and avoid facing action.
“We firmly believe that Vidya is very much in Ernakulam. It is just that she is being helped by the CPM-SFI leadership in the state to avoid facing legal action for her misconduct. She can’t be hiding for so long without their help,” said the student leader.
He also said the police case registered in response to the complaint filed by Arsho is nothing but political vengeance.
“KSU is planning to put out a ‘lookout notice’ for Vidya. We will launch state-wide protests. Political witch hunting will not deter us from seeking justice,” added the leader.
