YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has criticised IndiGo Airlines after his flight from Mumbai to Delhi was delayed by more than two and a half hours. The influencer took to social media to share his frustration, calling out what he described as “poor management” and a “lack of respect for passengers’ time.”

Yadav said that his flight, IndiGo 6E0615, was originally scheduled to depart from Mumbai at 1:00 PM, but was later rescheduled to 3:35 PM. In his post on X , he wrote: “Frustrating experience with IndiGo Airlines! Flight 6E0615 was supposed to depart at 1 pm, but now it’s delayed again and departing at 3:35 pm! If you’re in a hurry, you’re out of luck! Such poor management and lack of respect for passengers’ time! #IndigoAirlines.”

His post quickly gained attention online, resonating with several other passengers who have recently reported similar issues with IndiGo flights.

Earlier the same day, another IndiGo flight 6E 6133 from Mumbai to Rajkot faced heavy criticism from passengers after being kept inside the aircraft for over three hours. Initially told there were “operational issues,” passengers later found out that the delay happened because the pilot had not yet arrived.

According to one passenger’s account, the flight’s departure time was pushed multiple times from 7:00 AM to 7:55 AM, then 8:40 AM, and finally 10:30 AM. Many took to social media to express anger over the lack of proper updates and communication from the airline.

In response to Elvish Yadav’s post, IndiGo issued a clarification, saying that the delays were caused by a system outage affecting Air Traffic Control (ATC) data transmission, an issue that had disrupted flight operations for all airlines flying in and out of Delhi.

The airline replied to Yadav’s tweet, stating: “Dear Mr Yadav, we truly value your time and understand how this delay may have disrupted your travel plans. Due to a system outage affecting the transmission of Air Traffic Control data, flight operations to and from Delhi across all airlines have been impacted. While the authorities work to restore normal operations, we sincerely request your understanding as this situation is unfortunately beyond the control of any airline.”

The incident comes at a time when several passengers have raised concerns about frequent flight delays, poor communication, and inadequate passenger handling across major domestic routes. With winter schedules now beginning, industry observers say air traffic congestion and weather disruptions could further add to the pressure on airlines.
