Tiger Shroff firing case: 3 suspects arrested at Kota railway station in joint raid

Kota: Three individuals, including a minor, suspected of being involved in the firing on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff's car were detained on Monday in Rajasthan's Kota district aboard an incoming train from Mumbai, law enforcement officials stated.
The trio was intercepted at the railway station by the Kota City Police department.
Authorities identified two of the adult suspects as Ritik, a native of Bihar, and Rehan, hailing from Haryana, whilst procedural checks remain underway to confirm the exact identity of the third individual, who is a juvenile.

According to reports from Mumbai Police, the gunfire erupted at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday as Tiger Shroff departed from a sporting facility in Mumbai's Juhu district. The assailants discharged weapons directly at the actor's automobile. Although Shroff escaped direct bullet wounds, his driver sustained injuries during the assault.
Following the incident, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the actor's residence on Sunday evening. Shinde disclosed that Shroff suffered minor injuries to his left hand caused by gunpowder residue and shattered glass. The minister noted that both Tiger and his mother, Ayesha Shroff, remained shaken by the ordeal, while reiterating the state administration's commitment to security.
"Strict action will be taken, and threats against public figures will not be tolerated," Shinde stated.

Intelligence sources within the Mumbai Police Crime Branch revealed that the strike was executed by trained operatives who conducted exhaustive prior reconnaissance of the actor's weekly itinerary.
Investigators stated that the perpetrators exploited advance surveillance, knowing that Shroff frequented the Juhu football venue every Sunday. The gunmen monitored his movements to coordinate the ambush precisely as he exited the grounds in his vehicle.
Post-incident tracking showed the shooters fled along a pre-arranged escape route traversing S.V. Road through Vile Parle and Andheri. They abandoned their motorcycle near the Andheri West railway station before boarding a train bound for Borivali. Preliminary intelligence suggests the suspects subsequently crossed the Maharashtra state boundary to elude capture.
Concurrently, security protocols have been heavily reinforced outside actor Salman Khan’s residence at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra neighbourhood. Armed police contingents equipped with protective ballistic vests and patrol vehicles have been deployed to the site.
The formal legal proceedings incorporate charges under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), alongside statutory provisions under Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
