3 trainee doctors killed, two injured in car accident in Tamil Nadu

Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu: Three trainee doctors serving at Thoothukudi Government Hospital lost their lives early Wednesday morning when the car they were travelling in collided with a tree, police said.

Two others in the vehicle sustained serious injuries.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. near Newport Beach, under the jurisdiction of Thoothukudi South Police Station. 

The injured doctors have been admitted to a nearby hospital and are receiving treatment.
