‘A third-party connectivity network issue’: Air India's check-in system faces disruptions at Delhi, other airports

New Delhi: Air India’s check-in systems at Delhi and several other airports experienced issues on Wednesday due to a third-party connectivity network problem, according to sources.
The airline confirmed that the system has now been restored.
In a post on 'X', Air India stated that while the situation was gradually returning to normal, some flights may continue to face delays for a period of time.
At Delhi airport, the check-in systems at terminals T2 and T3 were down for about 70 minutes, from 3:40 pm to 4:50 pm, one source revealed.
"A third-party connectivity network issue had impacted check-in systems at some airports, thereby delaying flight departures of some airlines, including Air India. The system has since been restored," the airline said.
The specific airports affected were not disclosed.
Air India also advised passengers flying on Wednesday to check their flight status on the airline's website before heading to the airport and to allow extra time for their travel.
