Finally! India’s first Sleeper Vande Bharat is ready; WATCH its premium interiors

Patna: A new video shared by the BJP’s official X handle offers a complete glimpse of India’s first Sleeper Vande Bharat Express, giving the public a look at the fully prepared coaches.

The post came with the caption: "Train journeys will now become even more comfortable, faster, and premium... Soon, the country's first Sleeper Vande Bharat will run on the Patna–New Delhi track! See a glimpse of its special features..."

The video showcases the modern, high-tech interiors. These trains will have Wi-Fi, infotainment screens, and CCTV-monitored coaches, highlighting a premium travel experience. According to reports, the Sleeper Vande Bharat will run at 160 km/h, cutting travel time significantly compared to conventional trains.

The train will feature 16 coaches: 11 AC 3-tier, 4 AC 2-tier, and 1 AC 1-tier, with a total seating capacity of 827 passengers. Fares are expected to be comparable to the Rajdhani Express.

Scheduled to operate six days a week, the train will depart Patna in the evening and reach New Delhi the next day, offering passengers a fast, safe, and comfortable journey.

For residents of Bihar and frequent travellers to the capital, the video confirms that the Sleeper Vande Bharat is ready to hit the tracks soon, fulfilling a long-awaited promise of high-speed, luxurious train travel.
