Seven Maoists killed in encounter at Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh

Narayanpur: Seven Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Narayanpur district Chhattisgarh on Friday. Three soldiers from the security force too got injured in the encounter, held inside the forest at Orchha region. According to official sources, they could not identify the Maoists killed in the attack. 

With this, the total number of Maoists killed during the encounter attacks this year alone has gone up to 125. 

It was on Friday around 3 pm that the security forces had attacked the uniformed Maoists inside the forest near Orchha village, in Narayanpur district, Chhattisgarh.  The team of security force had reached the spot as part of anti-maoist operation. The force has recovered some weapons too from the spot. During the attack, three soldiers belonging to the security force too got injured.
