Seraikela Kharsawan: Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Champai Soren, on Saturday expressed his strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) victory in the ongoing elections. Speaking ahead of the vote counting, Soren, who is also a candidate from Seraikela Kharsawan, stated, "There is no doubt that the BJP is going to win. The BJP-NDA is going to form the government."

Soren attributed the expected victory to the support the BJP has garnered from the people of Jharkhand. He cited key issues that have been central to the campaign, particularly the concerns over "Bangladeshi infiltrators" in the state. He alleged that these infiltrators were taking land from Adivasi communities and even forcing Adivasi women into marriage. Soren stressed the rapid growth of the infiltrator population as a major challenge facing the region.

"The biggest issue in Jharkhand has been the Bangladeshi infiltrators. They are taking the land of Adivasis and forcefully making Adivasi women their wives. The population of these infiltrators is increasing rapidly," Soren claimed.

In addition to this, the former Chief Minister raised concerns about corruption, asserting that it had reached the highest levels in the state. He suggested that this election was crucial in restoring trust and that the BJP-led alliance would emerge victorious.

"In this election, the BJP is going to form the government. It will be clear in the next 1 to 1.5 hours," Soren confidently remarked, reinforcing his belief that the people’s mandate would favour the BJP alliance.
