‘You harmed the future of our youth’: Rahul Gandhi blasts PM Modi amid fast-track court announcement
News Desk: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has launched a fierce critique against Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the Centre's announcement to establish fast-track courts for paper leak cases.
Taking to social media, Gandhi accused the Prime Minister of severely damaging the prospects of the country's younger generation. Gandhi stated, "You are the one who has harmed the future of our youth the most. You allowed and encouraged the total capture and destruction of our education system - and protected every person responsible for it."
The scathing remarks follow Prime Minister Modi’s statement on X (formerly Twitter) confirming that fast-track courts would be set up to deliver swift and strict punishments to individuals involved in exam paper leaks.
Reiterating the collective stance of the opposition and protesting students, Gandhi underscored three core demands:
- Sack Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
- Issue an unconditional apology to the students.
- Take immediate legal action against those who assaulted protesting youth.

PM Modi's announcement came amid intensifying protests over the alleged NEET paper leak and examination irregularities, with demonstrations taking place in Delhi and several other cities.
Protesters have demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, compensation of Rs 1 crore for the families of students who allegedly died by suicide following the controversy, withdrawal of FIRs against peaceful protesters, and assurances that no fresh cases would be filed against demonstrators.
