‘If you ask him to dance, he will dance for votes’: Rahul Gandhi targets PM Modi in Bihar rally | WATCH

Muzaffarpur, Bihar: Launching a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi during an election rally in Muzaffarpur, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused him of being 'desperate for votes' and claimed the BJP was “trying to steal elections” across states. Bihar is heading for assembly elections soon, and Gandhi was campaigning for the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) in the poll-bound state.
“If you tell Narendra Modi to dance, he will dance… he just wants your vote,” Gandhi said, addressing a large crowd. “Narendra Modi went to bathe in his swimming pool. He has nothing to do with the Yamuna. He has nothing to do with Chhath Puja.”
Continuing his criticism, the Congress MP accused the BJP of undermining democracy and “stealing elections” in several states.
“They stole elections in Maharashtra, they stole elections in Haryana, and they will try their best in Bihar,” Gandhi alleged. “They will try their best to ensure that a government with the voice of Bihar is not formed in Bihar.”
He urged people to “put in all their efforts” and vote for the Grand Alliance, promising an inclusive government representing “every class, every caste, and every religion.”
Rahul Gandhi also accused the Prime Minister and the RSS of “attacking the Constitution” and weakening key institutions.
“Whatever you have got till date, be it vote, education, or health, is because of the Constitution,” he said. “ Narendra Modi and the RSS are attacking it. When they steal votes, they attack it.”
He cited the appointment of RSS-affiliated people to university positions as an example, saying, “when they give the post of Vice Chancellor to an RSS man, they attack the Constitution.”
Gandhi concluded by assuring voters that the Grand Alliance would “protect the Constitution” and ensure that “no one is left behind” in Bihar.
Bihar is gearing up for assembly elections, with political activity intensifying across the state.
