Is Naga Chaitanya going to be a dad? Nagarjuna responds

Telugu star Naga Chaitanya and actress Sobhita Dhulipala, who got married last year on December 4, have been the subject of social media speculation about whether they are expecting their first child. The couple has largely remained private about such rumours.

Recently, Naga Chaitanya’s father, veteran actor Nagarjuna, was asked about the possibility in an interview. When quizzed if he was “getting a promotion from father to grandfather,” Nagarjuna initially laughed off the question. Pressed further by Suman TV, he said, “I'll let you know when the time is right.”

This subtle response has sparked renewed interest among fans eager for news about the couple’s family plans, though no official announcement has been made yet.

Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, whom he met on the sets of the 2010 romantic hit Ye Maaya Chesave. The couple tied the knot in 2017 but announced their separation in 2021.

Samantha recently embraced a new chapter in her personal life, marrying filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony held on December 1 in Coimbatore.
