Jaipur Airport has announced flights to five new destinations as a part of its winter schedule. The new destinations are Guwahati, Ranchi, Nagpur, Patna, and Hisar. Additionally, services will resume to Bhubaneswar, Goa, Amritsar, and Varanasi, destinations that had seen prior operations halted due to low passenger demand and operational challenges.

With these additional destinations, Jaipur will offer daily average of 90 departures, up from its current 65.

The new routes will connect Jaipur to destinations in both the east and the west of India, making it easier for passengers to travel without lengthy stopovers. Direct flights to destinations like Guwahati and Ranchi will give a boost to Jaipur’s northeastern connectivity while increasing tourism options for passengers.

With flights to Nagpur and Patna, Jaipur will be connected to central India and Hisar will offer North Indian connectivity.

The proposed flight routes are expected to attract more passengers, reinvigorating regional tourism and enhancing accessibility to these new and resumed destinations.

Adding to this expansion, Akasa Airlines will play a key role in connecting Jaipur with other major cities. As per the winter schedule, Akasa Airlines is set to operate seven flights per week to Pune and Bengaluru and 14 weekly flights to Mumbai.

For travelers, this increased frequency will reduce wait times and improve scheduling flexibility. With newer domestic destinations all over India, Jaipur is serving as a regional hub with gateway to smaller cities and culturally rich destinations in India. Experts believe that eyeing Jaipur’s winter schedule, other regional airports in Tier II and III cities might adopt similar strategies to enhance regional travel.
