IndiGo Doha-Bengaluru flight diverted to Muscat after crew medical emergency

An IndiGo flight operating from Doha to Bengaluru was diverted to Muscat on September 3 after one of the operating crew members urgently required medical attention, the airline said.

Flight 6E 1302 landed in Muscat, where the crew member received medical assistance from a medical team. IndiGo said the crew member is now feeling better.

The airline has arranged an alternate aircraft along with a new set of crew members to operate the onward journey to Bengaluru.

Passengers are currently waiting in Muscat as arrangements are being made for the continuation of the flight. IndiGo said it is taking steps to minimise the inconvenience caused to passengers, including providing refreshments and timely updates.

"We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers and are making every effort to minimise it, including offering refreshments and timely updates as they wait for the aircraft at Muscat," the airline said.

IndiGo added that the safety of its customers, crew and aircraft remains its top priority.
