Indian-American man dies after being punched in face in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City: Hemant Mistry, a 59-year-old Indian-American hotel manager from Gujarat, succumbed to injuries after being fatally punched in the face.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Richard Lewis, attacked Mistry after the latter asked him to leave the motel premises. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a hotel situated at Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue at nearly 10 p.m. on June 22.
The altercation began following a heated argument between Mistry and Lewis, lasting approximately one minute. Mistry had reportedly asked Lewis to leave the motel premises, prompting the violent assault that left him unconscious.
Emergency services rushed Mistry to a nearby hospital, where despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. He was pronounced dead on Sunday at 7:40 p.m.
Local law enforcement initiated an investigation and located Lewis at another hotel nearby.
