Weather conditions across India on Tuesday present a varied picture, with cool and foggy mornings in the north, while parts of the south and east brace for rainfall and scattered showers.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated the presence of active weather systems that could trigger rain and thunderstorms in select regions. While northern states continue to experience lower morning temperatures and fog, southern and eastern parts are likely to see increased cloud cover and intermittent showers.

Delhi-NCR

The national capital and surrounding areas are witnessing cool mornings, with temperatures ranging between 16°C and 28°C. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and light rain. Fog in the early hours may reduce visibility before conditions gradually improve later in the day.

Chennai

In Chennai, temperatures are expected to hover between 24°C and 29°C. The city is likely to remain warm and humid, with partly cloudy skies and a moderate chance of scattered showers as tropical moisture moves into the region.

Mumbai

Mumbai is set for a warm day, with temperatures between 25°C and 28°C. While some cloud cover and breezy conditions are expected, the likelihood of rainfall remains relatively low compared to southern and north-eastern parts of the country.

Hyderabad

In Hyderabad, temperatures are forecast to range from 22°C to 31°C. The city is expected to remain warm and largely dry, with clear to slightly hazy skies and no significant rainfall predicted.

Karnataka

Parts of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, are likely to see temperatures between 20°C and 33°C. Conditions will remain warm with occasional cloudiness. Although widespread rain is unlikely, isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out in some areas later in the day.

Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience cool mornings and warmer afternoons, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C. Light rain is possible in certain districts, particularly in the north-eastern parts of the state.

Rajasthan

In Rajasthan, temperatures are forecast between 17°C and 29°C. The state will largely remain warm and dry, though eastern districts may see increased cloud cover. Significant rainfall is not anticipated.

Jammu and Kashmir

In Jammu and Kashmir, particularly around Srinagar, cold conditions persist, with temperatures hovering around -5°C. Higher reaches may receive fresh spells of snowfall.

Punjab

Punjab will see cool and foggy mornings, followed by warmer and sunnier conditions through the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to range between 13°C and 28°C, with no major rainfall forecast.

Ahmedabad

In Ahmedabad, hot and dry conditions will prevail, with temperatures between 23°C and 35°C. Strong sunshine is expected throughout the day and no significant rain is likely.
