New Delhi: On May 21, 2025, India expelled a Pakistani official posted at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, alleging the individual was involved in activities not in line with his diplomatic status.

The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the official was asked to leave the country within 24 hours. This marks the second such expulsion this month, following the May 13 removal of another Pakistani official on espionage charges.

These expulsions highlight escalating diplomatic tensions between India and Pakistan amid ongoing concerns over security and intelligence activities involving diplomatic missions.
