Noida: The mother of 10-year-old Tanishka Sharma, who died under mysterious circumstances at Praesidium School in Noida’s Sector 31 on Teacher’s Day, has made an emotional plea for justice, demanding to know what happened in her daughter’s final moments.

In a video that surfaced on social media platform X, Tanishka’s mother said, “On 4th September, I took her to school for Teacher’s Day celebrations. Around 11:30 am, I got a call from a teacher saying my daughter had fainted and I should rush to Kailash Hospital. When I reached, the doctors told me she was no more. That one sentence shattered my entire world.”

Through tears, she added, “I know my daughter won’t come back, but she has the right to justice. I just want to know what happened in those last few minutes of her life. The truth must come out.”

She also alleged that the school has not yet provided CCTV footage of the incident, despite several requests from the family.

Conflicting statements from school

According to the family, the school initially claimed that Tanishka fainted during lunch. Later, they said she collapsed near a staircase, raising further suspicion and confusion for the grieving parents.

Tanishka, a Class 6 student, was rushed to Kailash Hospital, about two kilometres from the school, but was declared dead on arrival.

Post-mortem reveals brain hemorrhage

A post-mortem report has confirmed that Tanishka died of a brain hemorrhage. The report noted bleeding on the surface of the brain, particularly at the back of the head, along with internal blood clots. Her lungs were congested, but there were no signs of external injury or choking. The hyoid bone in her neck was also intact, ruling out strangulation.
